View Full Version : Who are we?

"It is the living entity's constitutional position to be an eternal servant of Krishna because he is the marginal energy of Krishna and a manifestation simultaneously one and different from the Lord, like a molecular particle of sunshine or fire. Krishna has three varieties of energy."
(Caitanya-caritamrita; Madhya-lila; Chapter 20; verses 108-109)

jivera svarupa haya - krsnera nitay dasa

We are not the purusa as we try to think we are. We are the para-prakrti. Until we understand this fact we will only have troubles - with ourselves and the world around us. Even wars are fought based on this false ego of "I am white" "I am black" "I am American" "I am Indian" "I am Christian" "I am Muslim" "I am the dominator".

"I am not a brahmana; I am not a ksatriya; I am not a vaisya or a sudra. Nor am I a brahmacari, a householder, a vanaprastha, or a sannyasi. I identify myself only as the servant of the servant of the servant of the lotus feet of Lord Sri Krishna, the maintainer of the gopis. He is like an ocean of nectar, and he is the cause of universal transcendental bliss. He is always existing with brilliance." (Padyavali 74)

Jaya! Thanks, i'd like to ask, is false identity thinking that we are bad, offensive souls not worthy of serving the Lord, not able to? if we do let go of our inhibitions, and get angry, is that a bad thing? Does it mean we've turned our backs on service?
Say that someone is fallen, but thinks that they were always fallen and just thought egotistically that they had made progress, and were no better than a hog in actual fact, is this false identity?
or are they just listening to their mind?

a confused jiva,

Hari Bol!

Dear,,,,

I do not think that we are having a superficial mask. this shows abt the concept of trust. the moment we direct our fingers saying that things are superficial...we are doubting the trust. we are doubting ourselves to believe or not to believe.

in Bhagvatam, it is mentioned that, Lord Krishna has created a world without himself and thus came in Kali( the evil)....well, my view here is that....we shouldnt get into evil.....because , the most impt thing that we forget is that....though there is Kali....but Lord Krishna,,,,guides us "not to follow it"....thus, listen to this "Guidance" .....

'm not sure dear whether i'm successful in consenting yr views,,,,,,well, have tried best to explain.

Peace & Harmony
