View Full Version : Krishna = Allah = YHVH ? Two questions
For a research project:
1. Do you believe other religions worship Krishna through a different name?
IF NO: Do you believe that Allah, YHVH, Zeus etc exist, but they are just not as high as Krishna?
2. What is your stance on evangelism?

Hare Krsna!
I just joined the forum and am surprised no one reply to u.
In many places,S Prabhupada says that God has millions of Names-2nd verse Siksastakam, given by Caitanya Mahaprabhu.
Krishna's Name is the Name of the Lord used by intimate friends in Goloka Vrndavan.
Evangelism means good news, but alas, just like milk touched by a serpent, the disciplic succession of Jesus have changed many of his words, and now christians are doing the opposite of his instructions. They kill for food(thou shalt not kill!)
they intoxicate themselves, and loves money in general...
In this way they are going straight to hell!

Within different religions there is God (our equivalent being Sri Krsna) and then there are various demigods who are arranged in hierarchies. We must be careful to equate any name that appears to be referring to God as another name of God.
For example, Yahweh of Judaism may not be God. There is evidence in the Old Testament that He was a tribal or national deity (demigod) of the Jewish nation. During the 1st 300 years of Christianity, Yahweh was recognised as such by most Christians, especially the Gnostics. The way in which Jews and some Christians had elevated Yahweh to the status of God was offensive to most Christians during the early years of Christianity. The offence committed was the one which we call 'elevating the status of demigods to that of the Supreme Personality of Godhead'. That Yahweh was a tribal demiurge seems to be confirmed by the fact that Judaism is not a conversion religion.
So, Yahweh may NOT be Krsna. Allah may be, if and only if, by using this name (Allah) Muslims are referring to Him who is the Source of all energy, the fountainhead of Bliss, the all-attractive One without a second - whom we know by His original, gorgeous name: KRSNA.

Oh, by the way, Nitaidas Prabhu, please be very careful to pronounce that others are going to hell. That is the responsibility of souls far more elevated than you or I. Jesus Christ said "Judge not lest you be judged". If a devotee of Lord Krsna talks like this he becomes just like the worst kind of evangelical Christian who condemns those who do not see things the way that he does. Do not forget - every jiva is a devotee, whether he realises it or not. I mean no offence Prabhu, but do feel that we must be cautious.

Dear Erise,
Forgot to add another point. If Yahweh is indeed a tribal Deity, the Jews make no offence by worshipping Him. If we worship demigods such as Lords Ganesha or Sivaji, they pass the offering straight on to Sri Krsna. In a similar way, those praying to Yahweh will indirectly be worshipping Sri Krsna too.

Sir Jesus is considered the son of god, Muhammed Sahab is considered the Paigamber. They never claimed that they are god. Then where is the question arise that God, jesus or muhammed is equal to god?
