| Dandavat Pranams. There are literally hundreds of devotees living near by [murwillumbah]and Ive only breifly met 2 ritvics in nearly 30 years. Is the ritvic philosopy that now Prabupada has left no one in ISKcon is qualified to be Guru ,or no one on the planet ?.There is quite a difference and until I came across this site I hadn't given that particular philosopical divide a thought in years ,and I'm just trying to fill one of the many gaps in my devotional world view.Hari Bollo |

You don't need anybody telling you what you need to do or not. Krishna has already said in Bg. We cannot disobey Krsna. Krsna was present before Arjuna when He spoke, so we must have a Guru like this. .
Ritviks claim otherwise, they make Siksa Guru (Srila Prabhupada) into Diksya Guru. Thereby saying it is okay to gain initiation through a Ritivk representative and become a disciple of Prabhupada. But how will Srila Prabhupada judge whom He wants as a disciple? Can He? He is now in Goloka Vrindavana. To say there are no pure devotees present now is a grave offence, because without them this World would not exist. They may or may not be Inside Iskcon. Uttama-adikari or Madhayama-adikari. Who can say? Can we judge others so easily? Of course a Madhayama-adikari can become Guru. So in that way we have Srila Prabhupada always as Siksa Guru.
The Ritivk way basically says nobody can become Uttama-adikari. But nobody can enter Goloka without becoming Uttama-adikari. Just repeating what I read in Srila Prabhupada Books. |
