llDandavatpranams at the feet of all the vaisnava.All Glories toSriSri Radha and Krishna.I've only just found this forum and I quite like what I have seen.I'm sure that some of the obviously very Krishna Conscious and learned devotees that frequnt this site will be able to advise me. Though I have been endevouring to remember Radha and Krishna and the Gopies and simultaniously Gour-Nitai and my Diksa and Siksa gurus it seems that my rememberance of them all [though always weak and never that steady ] is gradually being replaced by a rememberance of Lord Paramatma instead [also a very weak and unsteady rememberance] So I am wondering whether due to my inumeral offences this special conception given by Sri Chaitanya is being taken away from me and being replaced with a lower concept untill my offences are removed?Or whether in fact it is a natural part of the process .Maybe it is necessary to lovingly surrender to the beautiful ,lotus eyed,4 armed, lord in our heart ,who has been with us as our dearmost friend for millions of lives ,before it is possible to approach the maidservants of Sri Radhe .Unless of course my swarup is fixed in vaikuntha as a servent of Narayan. I am a lowly person, but I will give you my feeling about your post. I think we should'nt worry so much about where we are in the path of devotion. If we do things with great devotion and humility things will fall into place, because mercy has no cause; your Gurudeva has given it to you-- you only need to tap into it. I think we have to first establish a personal relationship with our isthadeva and then back that up with external devotional activities. Myself when I chant on my japa I think of Lord Chaitanya with outstretch hands doing sankirtan, alternately imagining Krishna in the fields tending to his cows. Somtimes also, while japa chnating I think of Radha and Krishna playing water sport in the pond. I think for the very surrendered and advanced devotees they remember those pastimes spontaneously anytime, anywhere.
That is my personal humble opinion. Good to hear from you here. How is our giriraja forum ?

Dear Mathuranath das,
Please accept my dandavat pranams. I'm happy to meet you for I also have been given the name Mathuranath das by my Spiritual Master. Ayi dina dayadranatha hey mathuranath....Such a high conception is associated with this name. We will faint to even come near its true purport. You can find Srila Prabhupad's explanation in the Chaitanya Charitamrita. Although the name refers to "the Lord of Mathura" it is very deeply connected with Madhuya rasa as is ultimately everything in Mahaprabhu's expression of Krsna Conciousness. The Gaudiya Vaisnava Acharyas, begining with Mahaprabhu and Srila Rupa Goswami are pointing us toward the highest most refined conception of spiritual love-prema-dharma. In Vrndavan, that divine love is fully manifest in all 5 rasas (shanta, dasaya, sakya, vatsalya and madhurya) with madurya permeating and supporting all service there. This is the full-fledged theism of Mahaprabhu. Worship of Narayan or Visnu only contains the first 3 primary rasas of shanta, dasya, and sakya and is in vidhi marg (the realm of justice and formality). Vatsalya and more importantly Madhurya rasas are absent there. The higher type vaisnavas avoid vaikuntha and surrender to Mahaprabhu who fully embodies Madhurya rasa in a safe and approachable way- for we who are unqualified- yet are aiming towards raga-marg (spontaneous-loving devotion...the realm of mercy and affection). The spontaneous awakenment of uncheckable heart flow towards Krsna and His devotees is the manifestation of prema. The Chaitanya Charitamrita explains that ParamatmaJi is expanded from Nityananda-Balaram. Unlimited Visnu forms come from Him, so its better to go to the source. His accessible manifestation for us is Sri Gurudeva, this is the sure and safe route.
Another consideration is that The Reality of Sri Krsna and the Visnu-tattva is that He is super-subjective. We are His objects. Atah sri krsna namadi, na bhaved grham indriya...That is, we cannot approach the Lord by our ascending mental power. Mind is material and everything comes from subtle to gross. Consciousness or spirit gives rise to matter and all perceptual and mental experience. Through selfless service to Sri Guru and the vaisnavas the higher reality reveals itself to us...by its own volition. By becoming simple, sincere and patient...serving with humility..trinad api sunichena...then Krsna will become attracted to YOU. His mercy will descend to you. This is the way of krsna Consciousness. Study without service is useless. And mental picturing is an anartha, it will impede true revelation from the higher source. Do the needful and Krsna will bless you and a higher endowment from the swarup-sakti will enrich you more than any effort of your own will could produce.
