|

| A devotee I met several month's ago wore a necklace that he told me was made from the wood of Krishna's favorite tree. Does anyone know what he was talking about? I would really like to know more about this, but I can't find information anywhere. Thanks. |

Hey Tommy,
Krsna's favorite tree or plant rather is Tulasi. All aspiring devotees wear tulasi beads, chant on tulasi beads, worship tulasi and adorn all food offerings to Krsna with tulasi leaves. She is the mother of devotion to Lord Krsna. She is also known as Vrinda devi. Her divine conscious abode is Vrndavana, Lord Krsna's favorite abode. She is an expansion of Lord Krsna's internal devotional potency (the swarup-shakti). Honor her, gain her blessing and Lord Krsna will become attracted to you...
Hare Krsna! |
